Getting Started

Twinalyze is an analytics and engagement platform that helps you understand how users interact with your app or website.It helps you track user activity, sessions, screens, events, retention, ads, notifications, reports, and growth insights from one place.
Twinalyze is useful for product teams, app owners, developers, marketers, growth teams, and businesses that want to understand user behavior and improve product performance.
You need a Twinalyze account, an organization, a project, and SDK credentials such as an API key and secret key.You receive these credentials after creating a project from Project Settings.After that, you can integrate the SDK into your app or website.
Twinalyze starts collecting data after the SDK is added and initialized correctly in your app or website.For Android, initialize the SDK inside the Application class.

Organization and Project

An organization represents your company or team inside Twinalyze.You can manage projects, members, roles, settings, and permissions under one organization.
A project represents one app, website, or product that you want to track.Each project has its own SDK credentials and analytics data.
Yes. One organization can have multiple projects.This is useful when you manage multiple apps, websites, or client products.
You can find credentials such as the API key and secret key inside Project Settings or the SDK setup section.These credentials are required for SDK initialization.

SDKs and Tracking

Twinalyze supports app and web tracking.Current SDK documentation includes Android Analytics SDK, Android Ad Analytics SDK, and JavaScript SDK pages.
Initialize the Android SDK inside your Application class.Do not initialize it inside an Activity because complete session tracking should start from the app lifecycle level.
The Analytics SDK can track app sessions, screen views, fragments, tabs, app foreground and background state, custom events, user behavior, and engagement signals.
Custom event tracking lets you track business-specific actions such as signup, add to cart, checkout, purchase, payment failed, button click, or any important user action.
Yes. You can send properties with custom events using JSON.Example properties include product ID, product name, currency, amount, category, user type, or any useful business detail.
Null values can make reports harder to read and may create inconsistent event data.Use "unknown", 0, or remove the key when a value is unavailable.

Product Overview and Analytics

Product Overview gives a high-level view of your app or website performance.It includes user overview, active users, retention users, average session duration, country-wise users, traffic sources, app opens, notification permission, version distribution, and app growth.
User Overview shows key user metrics such as new users, active users, retention users, and average session duration.It helps you understand product health quickly.
Users by Country shows where your users are located.You can use it to understand regional traffic, compare countries, and plan marketing or product decisions.
User Acquisition by Source shows where users are coming from, such as Facebook, Google Play Store, direct traffic, or other campaign sources.It helps you understand which channels bring users to your product.
Version Distribution shows which app versions are currently being used.It helps you understand whether users are using the latest version or older versions.

Realtime Users

Realtime Users shows live user activity inside your app or website.It helps you monitor active users, traffic sources, location, app opens, and version usage in real time.
Use realtime analytics during campaigns, app releases, traffic spikes, technical testing, or live monitoring.It helps you quickly detect changes in user activity.
Live Map shows where active users are located on the world map.It helps you understand live geographic activity.
Traffic by UTM shows live traffic grouped by campaign values such as source, medium, campaign, content, and term.It helps you monitor campaign traffic in real time.

User Insights

Page Insights helps you understand which screens, pages, or fragments users visit the most.It shows visits, active users, average page views, and remaining users.
User Engagement helps you understand how often users open your app and how many sessions each user creates.It is useful for measuring repeated usage and app activity.
User Retention shows how many users return after their first activity.It helps you understand whether users continue using your product over time.
User Growth shows install users, uninstall users, same-day uninstall users, app growth, uninstall rate, and country-wise uninstall data.It helps you understand product growth and churn.
Remaining users show how many users continue after visiting a screen.If a screen has high visits but low remaining users, it may indicate a drop-off point.

Advanced Reports

Advanced Report helps you build custom analysis using selected events.It currently includes Segmentation and Funnel views.
Segmentation helps you compare one or more events over time.You can use it to understand trends, event activity, and user behavior patterns.
Funnel helps you measure how users move from one step to another.It is useful for conversion analysis, drop-off tracking, and user journey optimization.
Filter by helps you narrow report data.You can filter users by country, city, Android OS, brand, screen, user type, or other available properties.
Group by splits report data into smaller segments.For example, group an event by country to compare activity between different regions.
Yes. You can save reports and open them later from the Reports page.This helps teams reuse important analysis without rebuilding it every time.

Ads and Ad Failure Insights

Ad Report shows performance data such as requested ads, loaded ads, shown ads, failed ads, clicks, CTR, show rate, and other ad metrics.It helps you understand how ads perform across countries, ad companies, and ad formats.
Ad Failure Insights helps you understand why ads are failing.It shows failed events, error codes, error messages, ad formats, ad companies, and screen-level failure details.
Ad failures can reduce revenue and affect user experience.By tracking error details, you can identify no-fill issues, invalid ad units, failed loads, and screen-specific ad problems.
Twinalyze can help analyze ad data from supported networks such as AdMob, Facebook, AdX, and other configured ad providers.
Average shows failed events compared with total users or relevant ad activity.It helps you understand the failure impact more clearly.

Messaging and Campaigns

Messaging helps you create and manage push notification campaigns.You can select users, choose templates, write notification content, translate messages, preview notifications, and schedule campaigns.
Create Message is used to build a new push notification campaign.You can select an event-based audience, choose a template, add a title and description, configure the launch URL, and review the preview.
Yes. Twinalyze supports language-wise notification content.You can review translated languages, edit content, and check statuses such as translated or edited.
Campaign History shows previously created campaigns with users, opened count, failed count, click rate, status, schedule type, and schedule date.It helps you monitor notification performance.
Campaigns can have statuses such as scheduled, sent, failed, draft, or cancelled.These statuses help you understand the current state of each campaign.
Yes. Campaign actions can include options such as duplicate or delete.Duplicate is useful when you want to reuse a previous campaign setup.

Ask Twinalyze AI

Ask Twinalyze AI is an assistant inside Twinalyze that helps you ask questions about your product data.You can ask about retention, active users, traffic, countries, reports, and other analytics insights.
You can ask questions like:
  • Why did retention drop?
  • Show DAU for the last 7 days.
  • Which users are most active?
  • Which countries are affected the most?
  • Generate details in table form.
Yes. Ask Twinalyze AI can show answers in table format when structured data is useful.This helps you compare results more clearly.
Yes. AI answers can help you understand data faster, but important business decisions should be checked against dashboard reports.

Integrations

Twinalyze integration pages include Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, AdMob, Facebook Ads, Facebook Monetization Manager, Slack, Microsoft Teams, AppLovin, and OneSignal.
Coming soon means the integration is planned, but the setup guide is not yet available.The page explains what the integration will support and how users can prepare for it.
Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations help send important Twinalyze alerts, reports, and product updates directly to team channels.
These integrations help connect campaign performance with Twinalyze user behavior.This makes it easier to understand which campaigns bring valuable users.

Settings, Roles, and Permissions

Settings helps you manage account details, organization profile, members, roles, permissions, security, login activity, and project-level configuration.
Roles control what each team member can view or manage inside Twinalyze.Common roles include Owner, Admin, Analyst, and Viewer.
Choose a role based on responsibility.Owners and Admins usually manage setup and users. Analysts usually work with reports. Viewers usually review data.
Yes. Permissions can be configured based on what each role should access.This helps protect sensitive settings while allowing teams to work with analytics data.

Data and Quality

Data Control and Quality helps you manage tracking accuracy, event quality, and data consistency.It helps teams keep analytics reliable and easy to understand.
Clean event names make reports easier to read.Use consistent names such as signupCompleted, add_to_cart, or purchase_completed.
Avoid null values, unnecessary fields, raw class objects, very large values, and inconsistent key names.Keep event properties useful and readable.
SDK credentials connect your app or website to the correct Twinalyze project.Incorrect credentials can send data to the wrong project or stop tracking.

Troubleshooting

Check whether the SDK dependency is added, initialization is placed correctly, API key and secret key are correct, internet permission is available, and the app has been opened after setup.
Make sure the event name is valid, the event tracking method is called, event properties are JSON-serializable, and the SDK is initialized before sending events.
Check whether the Ad Analytics SDK is added, ad events are called at the correct lifecycle points, the ad unit ID is passed correctly, and ad provider callbacks are connected properly.
A report may be empty when no data exists for the selected date range, country, user type, event, or filter.Try changing the date range or removing filters.
No data found means the selected filters or date range do not have matching records.It does not always mean tracking is broken.
