Before you begin
Make sure you have:- Access to the required Slack workspace
- Permission to create or install Slack apps
- A channel for Twinalyze notifications
- Permission to manage integrations in Twinalyze
Connect Slack
Create a Slack app
Open the Slack app management page and select Create New App.Choose From scratch, enter an app name such as
Twinalyze, and select the required Slack workspace.Enable Incoming Webhooks
Open the newly created Slack app.Select Incoming Webhooks from the app settings and enable Activate Incoming Webhooks.
Add a webhook to the workspace
Click Add New Webhook to Workspace.Select the Slack channel where Twinalyze should send notifications, then click Allow or Authorize.
To connect a private channel, your Slack account must already be a member of that channel.
Copy the webhook URL
After authorization, return to the Incoming Webhooks section.Copy the generated webhook URL from Webhook URLs for Your Workspace.The URL will look similar to:
Open Twinalyze Integrations
Open your Twinalyze project and go to Project Setting → Integrations.Find Slack under the communication integrations.
Add the webhook URL
Open the Slack integration and paste the copied URL into the Webhook URL field.Select the notification options available for your project.
Test the connection
Click Test Connection to send a test notification.Open the selected Slack channel and confirm that the message was received.
